Our origins can be traced back to 1972, but it is not until one decade later that the founding partners decide to operate under the current denomination, also using the acronym T.P.A. as an abbreviated form of identification. Since then and throughout several stages of development, we have strived to offer professional excellence, propriety in our practice, responsiveness and, most especially, a comprehensive service portfolio.

Founded in Caracas, Venezuela, Torres Plaz & Araujo has since spread out towards the interior and exterior of the country. We currently have an office in Puerto La Cruz, equipped with advanced communication means to allow providing a direct and personalized attention to our clients in the East of our country, and to simultaneously provide services between Caracas and Puerto La Cruz, broadening the availability of resources for both matters requiring local attention (Puerto La Cruz and its areas of influence), and those that must be attended to in Caracas. We thus guarantee the quality of the service, avoiding the increase in costs that would be implied by the outsourcing of such work. We also have as correspondents some of the most important law firms in the most dynamic cities in the interior of the country: Maracaibo, Valencia, Barquisimeto, Cumana and Valera; and through the State Capital Law Firm Group, an international organization that started as a group of firms exclusively from the United States of America and that has expanded to all continents, we maintain professional relations with law firms around the world. Some of our professionals are also members of the International Fiscal Association, or the International Bar Association, an organization gathering over 2.5 million lawyers in 183 countries around the country, representing the largest organization of lawyers worldwide.

Manuel Torres Núñez, Rodolfo Plaz Abreu, Federico Araujo Medina, Guillermo de la Rosa Stolk, Juan Domingo Alfonzo, Leonardo Palacios Márquez, Luis Gonzalo Monteverde Juan Carlos Garantón Blanco and Jesús Escudero Estévez, lead a group of professionals at TPA: top-notch lawyers and bachelors in tax sciences, commercial management and public accounting with post-graduate studies in the country and abroad, mastering more than one language and well-acquainted with the details of their respective specialties. Several of these professional have worked at various law firms in the United States of America and Europe, while others are renowned professors of pre-graduate and post-graduate programs at the most prestigious universities in Venezuela. The group is complemented by our consulting associates of long professional and academic path: José Domínguez Ortega, Fernando Araujo Medina y Alberto Montero Barrios.
