A lawyer graduated from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (1991). LLM in Financial Law at the same University (1994). LLM in: International Taxation, New York University (2003).

He is a member of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VenAmCham), Venezuelan Association of Financial Law, International Fiscal Association (IFA), Fulbright Association and Venezuelan Association of Tax Law.
