A lawyer graduated from the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (Caracas) in 1982. Furthermore, he completed post-graduate studies in Comparative Law at the Inter-American Law Institute, New York University School of Law (1982-1983) (New York) and in Financial Law at the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (1992-1994) (Caracas).

He is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the Inter-American Bar Association (Venezuelan Chapter), represents Torres, Plaz & Araujo at the Capital Markets Committee (“Comité de Mercado de Capitales”) of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VenAmCham), and at the Venezuelan-Colombian Economic Integration Chamber (Cavecol).
